Exciting News! We won second place at the Auckland 48Hours Film Festival 2022! Woo hoo! We were also nominated for Best Female Filmmaker, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Score, Best Sound Design, Best Script and Best Editing, to name a few! We present to you, Angle3 Pictures’ short film submission for this years’ 48Hours Film Competition 2021 – ‘Memories of Kevin’.

With every year bringing in new challenges, this year with Auckland being in Lockdown Level 3 falling in between the weekend of the competition, we challenged ourselves to begin shooting on Sunday 6am after the level 3 was lifted and moved to level 2, allowing us to film together while social distancing. This gave us the whole of Saturday to script and pre-plan for the production next day. We focussed on shooting the oner (the whole scene shot in one continuous long take).

Again, a huge thank you to our amazing and wonderful team for all your passion and love. At Angle3, we’ve always kept with the mantra of creating a film that can exist outside of the 48 Hour Film Competition. We can safely say we have achieved this goal once again and can't wait for you all to see it!
