We sometimes tend to stay put and focus ourselves to other things that are going around on social media that tend to let us forget our faith; or not give it importance. If not forgotten, we, people tend to stumble and it sometimes causes backsliding.

Social Media influences us with ideas and opinions of people, some of which, are "made up" or just theories. Thus implanting in the minds of the readers what they saw and read on social media. Some if not most just believe in gossips and rumors without further evidence of a certain issue. Social media creates a big impact in the social life of a person. It might also affect the faith and the spiritual life of netizens for social media can be the root of change in a person's faith.

Social media can affect our faith by getting a hold of our attention. For example, many of youth today have gadgets and some of them only focus on their social life they don't mind their spiritual life.

▫️Let people know how marvelous and generous he is through Social Media! Social Media isn’t just about those hashtags like I mean it’s good that you’re sharing how great your life is but let me ask you this... Who is the reason why your life is great? Who is so merciful that we, sinners are forgiven and free? It is He! Our creator, our God above! But us millennials now a days are forgetting why we should be thankful! We never forget to post even 1 single status or tweet a day (or more) yet we don’t remember our father above? We, millennials should be aware of these situations that are happening around us. We should check ourselves and ask, “am I using Social Media for God’s benefit or mine?”

How can social media affect one’s faith?

Alam kong konti lang ang makakapansin pero social media does affect our faith. Yung times na dapat ispend natin with HIM e na tetake pa ng facebook, twitter, instagram and etc. Every morning na gigising tayo, hindi na prayer o pagbabasa ng Bible inuuna, kundi cellphone na.
