My partner and I started our own publishing company, Twisted Rose Publishing, and also started my own graphic art design company, angel Art Studio. I was asked by several author friends to help them set up their social media platforms and began Heaven-Wide Communications. After starting the third company, I realized they would be better served under one "umbrella" and would be easier to keep track of, market, and promote. This is how Heaven's Garden Productions came into being, as it became the parent company to angel Art Studio, Heaven-Wide Communications, and Twisted Rose Publishing. The main reason my husband and I wanted our own company, rather than publishing in the traditional manner is that he had several bad experiences with several ePub companies. He and I both wanted full control of our work and to make or break on our own. It's a lot of hard work, as we both benefit from our company, but I am the one who handles all aspects of the company. This includes the social media aspect. He's pretty good about promo on Facebook, and he's now doing a weekly segment on our new company blog, but I know there is more that not only I, but he can learn that will help us to reach our fan base, which is coincidentally, or niche, our reader base. We are very passionate about our company, but both of us tend to be rather subdued by nature. This makes it harder to really show the zeal, the zest we feel for Heaven's Garden Production. We try to show it in each step of our work, not just the finished products, which may be a book, or a book cover. We feel that a professional appearing end product is not only a good idea, but is essential to our business. We know we may not always get it right, but we strive to give our best and to change things when they aren't working
