Live On The Grass Roots Show - Mary Lou Scherder
Flashback Friday - It was a very most perfect first interview with Mary Lou Scherder earlier this year, as she stopped on by the studio and introduced us to her new CD "Charlie's Daughter". Don't have it? Get it. Here she is performing "The Very Most Perfect First Kiss" from that CD. Mary Lou has been very active in the local music scene, you can see her out performing almost every week, and if she's taking a break from scheduled shows she's out hoping up on stage at an open mic or with another band. Check her out a venue near you and hit her website at www.marylouscherder.com. Keep supporting local music, and thank you.

The band was almost as new as the songs were having been together less than a year. Their single "Drunk On Us" went on to win the 2016 Grassy Award. Here they are performing "All Of Me" live in the Grass Roots on The Rock Station 97.7 Studio. Check them out, give them a LIKE, and get your copy of their CD. Live On The Grass Roots Show - Trigger Happy
Flashback Friday - We've had these guys on a couple times now (and they'll be on again in a couple of weeks because we think they are worth more than 3 cans of beans), but here is Trigger Happy from 2014 performing their song "3 Cans Of Beans" live in the Grass Roots on The Rock Station 97.7 Studio. They have since revamped the lineup, but the King brothers are as strong as ever with a brand new CD that drops tomorrow night at HalloWoosh. Check them out and keep Supporting Local Music.

Grass Roots On The Scene - East Coast Turnaround
The Grass Roots Show "On The Scene". Bob and Utah made their way down to The Hard Rock Cafe to catch long time friends of the show EastCoast Turnaround, along with rising local star Paul Luc (first time for both of us hearing this guy), and incredible singer/songwriter Chris Knight. All 3 acts were phenomenal, and there was some goosebump and shiver down your spine moments with some of the songs, as well as plenty of laughter, and plain old "I can relate to that!". We talked with some of the guys from East Coast Turnaround after the show and we'll get that on an up and coming show soon, and see if we can hook up with Paul Luc at some point as well. Keep supporting folks, best value for your entertainment dollar, bar none.
