WOW! Such an amazing night. We just won Best Radio Station for Best of Lawrence for the second year in a row! We want to thank all of our listeners, alumni, volunteers, executive staff, and donors for supporting us throughout this year.
As a Cabinet, we decided just recently on this mission statement, “The station cultivates a sense of community and belonging on the KU campus and provides a platform for creative expression. Through the KJHK experience, KU students learn leadership and relational skills that serve them for a lifetime.”
We can gladly say that our win tonight means we’ve been serving our purpose in the community and for our passionate and hardworking students. Just by being a supporter, you’ve won tonight by making some college kids dreams come true. You’ve given us a platform and space to continue making even more happen within the many years to come. Thank you doesn’t go to show how much appreciation our hearts hold.
As always, keep it locked. Until next year! 🔒
