::BIG RELATED POST, PLEASE SHARE:: I just want to take a moment here to say thank you to everyone who has preordered before its official release date of Tuesday 6 August. I also want to talk a bit about the novel and then drop a bunch of links for you to follow in order to get your copy in whatever format you like. DRILL is my most personal work, in fact god help me if I ever write anything *more* personal, and though it may not be my best work, it *is* my Great Work, speaking as a naturalised and practicing sorcerer. When you read DRILL you are entering into a magical working that I have designed and built from the ground up, writing into existence a kind of *living curse* that is activated through readership. This is the core concept. And the targets of this curse? Well, the Jehovah's Witnesses cult, for one, and for another I will just be bald about it and say the truth, which is that the secondary target is my father, a Jehovah's Witness elder of many decades who now shuns whole chunks of his family based on the natterings of his cult leaders, the Governing Body of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania and New York. I hate this man and wish him harm, and DRILL is a record of my rage and despair at being a living-dead man in my father's cult-trained eyes. You will learn things with DRILL that you will not learn elsewhere. Oh, there's a third target as well, I almost forgot to mention, but friends, it's the biggest target of all: God itself. We're going after Jehovah the Lord of Hosts and it's a straight up murder we're about! It's the ! Let's do it together, be an accessory to my cosmic crime! And there are funny bits too!
