Northern Lights is Northern State University's online artistic ezine, where anyone can submit stories, poems, essays, musical pieces, videos, short films, pictures, paintings, drawings, etc. It is a place where EVERYONE can share stories, poems, essays, musical pieces, pictures, paintings, etc., with the NSU and Aberdeen community, as well as friends, family, and future employers. PLEASE check back here for more information in weeks to come! We will keep you up to date with information as soon it becomes known to us. Don't hesitate to ask us anything! It is our hope to involve as many students/faculty/community over a wide of a range as possible so that this can be a product of the ENTIRE student body that EVERYONE can take pride in. We meet every Thursday @ 4:30 in MJ 146.

Thank you to everyone that attended the launch party and bought a copy of the magazine! For the first time in Northern Lights history, we sold out of copies!! We will be printing more for future orders, though, so don’t worry if you didn’t get one already it isn’t too late!

March 1st is coming up . Whether you just dabble in all things creative or have experience with it , Northern Lights wants to see you submit your work. A few lucky people who submit for the magazine will be selected and awarded a pineapple at the launch party. #northernlights #NSU
