I will digitalize those photo prints, slides & videos you have acquired throughout the years and then help you tell your families story. I am very passionate about telling our story because I believe it is very important to know where we come from and why we look the way we do and have the characteristics we have. I believe if we don't take the time to tell our families stories our stories will be lost and our children and children's children will have no ROOTS!

In the past few months, I have seen several photo companies discontinue their services. Some have encouraged their customers to support another company and others have changed their platforms in which their customers are no longer able to access their current photos and photo projects. PRESERVATION is the most important part! In fact, it’s the ONLY thing that MUST be done.
It’s like bringing home groceries, and organizing them, instead of getting them into the cold refrigerator as soon as possible. If you choose to delay it, while you organize, you have a much higher risk of spoilage.
Likewise, if you delay getting your photos into safe storage you risk losing them. Therefore, always upload your photos first - and as soon as possible.

Anyone who thinks Facebook is good for photo storage does not understand that Facebook cares NOT ONE WHIT ABOUT PROTECTING YOU OR YOUR PHOTOS! Their primary goal is to sell whatever INFORMATION ABOUT YOU that they can mine from those photos!
Do I post personal photos on Facebook? Yes, occasionally. But I do NOT rely on Facebook as my permanent photo storage system. I also appreciate that whatever I post on Facebook is also automatically backed up in my FOREVER account, including the words I wrote with the post.

Good morning, Wanted to share some exciting news with you: as of this morning, our new Create & Print Editor is officially live! Now, what does this mean? In a nutshell, it means a better, more efficient experience when designing print projects via the web editor. Here are some specifics:

• The design will now auto-adjust to the size of your screen! No more scrolling up & down to make edits - see it all at once.

• You can change product options right from the editor. No need to start a new project each time you want to make a change! Speaking of changes...

• Not loving the design you chose? You can select a new one right from your existing project! It will keep any photos and text you've already selected/written.

• Many designs will come with flexible layouts, meaning you can change your photo grids and text boxes!

On top of all of that, the new editor has significantly improved our mobile experience! Designing from your phone has never been easier.

An email with a walkthrough video will be sent to all of you later this afternoon (or, at the latest, tomorrow)! So get excited, start exploring, and share with your clients.

To estimate the number of photos you have, use this rule of thumb: Each 1 inch stack of photos equals approximately 100 photos.
With traditional flatbed scanning, you would spend as much as 6 hours scanning 100 photos. If you scan 1,000 pictures, you would save more than 62 hours! 😳
I prefer to turn it over to the experts so that I spend my time on the things that only I can do - like telling what I know about the photos. They also do all the uploading for me directly into my FOREVER back-up storage account.
Either way - DIY or with the help of our amazing technicians at FOREVER - you can back up and organize your photos, slides, videos, documents, scrapbooks, journals, letters and audio recordings - PLUS everything on your phone or computers!
