Geez . . .
I am still mourning the loss of my dearly departed friend, Synia Carroll ... In all the joy of working on getting her CD "Water Is My Song" out last year, all of us could never, ever imagine that this would be her last work ... I'm so honored she chose to release it on Clarion Jazz ... Here's Synia's only original tune from the CD, co-written with our dear friend Jane Getz, entitled "Child Of The Time." This is for her daughter, Janina McQuillan, and son, Jesse McQuillan. Featuring: Synia Carroll - vocals, John Di Martino - piano, Westey Lima De Amorim - guitar, Kenny Davis - bass, Jerome Jennings - drums, Aaron Heick - soprano sax.
