We are still carefully watching this potential major winter storm late Wednesday into Thursday evening. If you have plans on traveling, please be prepared to delay or cancel them. I’m not saying to do that just yet… but just keep that in mind as travel conditions could become hazardous or even dangerous Wednesday through Thursday. Snowfall and track are still questionable as we are about 4 days out!

Severe Thunderstorm Watch is issued until 9pm.
A live look as of 3:30! Snowfall rates can be anywhere from 1"-2" per hour. Merrill probably has about 2" so far. Everyone needs drive with care and take your time.
A live look as of 1:00pm. Blowing and drifting snow is happening at this time. Drifts can be a half to a foot tall. So far 6” has fallen sense this morning. 2”-5” still could fall until the snow ends around the late evening hours.
Storm Prediction Center as moved the risk level more north and west for this evening.
There is a Marginal risk out for today. Storms can become strong. Main threats are gusty winds, small hail and heavy downpours.
