Please make sure your limbs are out by the road, but NOT ON THE ROAD, Fort Bend County may start picking up today. (7-13-24) Fort Bend County & the City of Needville will not ask for money to remove your limbs.
**They will only be picking up tree limbs, no regular trash or construction materials.

I will have a press conference today at 1:30 pm with the latest update on Hurricane Beryl from our state emergency operations center. Right now is the calm before the storm. Beryl can still move eastward and will strengthen before landfall tomorrow morning between Corpus Christi and Houston. Anyone planning to move away from the coast needs to move today. Residents staying in place should take precautions today for wind, heavy rain, potential flooding, storm surge on the coast, and possible tornados.
