The comedy world lost a GIANT today.
The Sower Records community are saddened at the loss of our dear friend and professional comedian, Brad Stewart.
Brad always talked about how moving back to Nebraska to take care of his ailing Father, who at the time had Lou Gehrig's Disease(ALS), might not have been the best career choice. But, what came to be, was Brad turning a seemingly slow Sunday night crowd at The Zoo Bar into one of the greatest ongoing comedy shows the State of Nebraska has ever seen. Brad was responsible for bringing in some enormous names, including Kyle Kinane, James Fritz, Susanna Lee, Eddie Pepitone, Adam Cayton-Holland, Brittany Tilander and more. The list is insane of who Brad was able to bring to Lincoln.
To be able to document one of his live shows and release it as a Sower Records record, was an absolute honor. Check out that amazing night here:

Brad's love and support for the local music and arts scene was more pronounced than anyone I can think of. We always talked about how we can make the scene better and more supportive of one another. It grows, WE grow! His obsession for doing that was immense. His open heart, and his ability to not screen his emotions made Brad who he was. Smart comedy. And, his unblushing ability to call a country song what it was...were all gut-punching laughs.
I will miss our conversations about music, comedy and life. And, I will miss my friend, Bradley.
