There were so many people at Greg Metcalf's launch of "Glimpses", his book of Digby-area short stories, at the Harbourview Inn in Smiths Cove that we could not get them all into one picture. A great reading and lovely snacks = happy people.

We publish rural Nova Scotia

In 2019, author Brenda Thompson decided to found our little publishing house to support writers in, or writing about, rural Nova Scotia. We thought we might have trouble finding manuscripts to publish, but wow were we wrong. Folks are writing mysteries, comedies, historical dramas, science fiction, and thoughtful studies of life in this province outside of our two big cities.

We constantly have four or five books in the final editing process, as many more in development, and as many again waiting for an editor’s attention. That said, we are always ready to look at new material or hear pitches for possible books.
