What a stag that was for in York! I miss it so much already. We got drunk as dogs, ate lots of chocolate and steak, saw lots of trains and played lots of magic. Most importantly the Lads were together again for more crazy memories that will be treasured over the years to come.

Safe to say the last week has been the best I've had so far this year. was incredible. I saw some incredible bands, recorded some great interviews that I'm super proud of and caught with great friends and made some new ones. Also getting to see play with support from was an awesome treat!!!

Dear supporters, we are sorry to say that we are facing a crisis and we desperately need your help.

We've had notice that we must vacate the premises for our kennels in just under four weeks.

We currently have 50 dogs in our care. We plan to erect temporary kennels on land to get our animals safe and sheltered for the time being.

To ensure our dogs are not homeless we need:

* Donations of money - land and kennel buildings are expensive.
* Building materials and/or labour - we will need fencing, kennels etc and urge companies to help us.
* People to open up their hearts and homes to foster and adopt. This will greatly ease the pressure on us.
* Shares - please share this appeal and the profiles of our dogs needing homes.
* Fundraisers - can you team up with friends, family or colleagues to help save us?

We have kindly been allowed to use the land for our kennels for free, but now it is being sold. The landlord's generosity has meant we have saved many animals’ lives.

CWAR has been offered another area of land to rent by the current landlord, but there’s no buildings on it. It will cost tens of thousands for an emergency set up for the animals.

In the face of a shocking rise in animal abandonment, we next plan to build a permanent purpose-built facility to quadruple the rescue spaces we have beeb providing. This will cost around £1 million.

Did you know that 20,000 dogs are euthanised every year because of a lack of kennel space or good homes?

CWAR officially started last year by Sharon Williams, who for years has been taking animals home that were brought in unnecessarily for euthanisation. Friends began to help her and a rescue was born.

Initially, Sharon on her own, and now with her 30-strong team, have all saved around 1,000 animals.

Please help us to continue saving the defenceless.
