So there's hoopla about the emerging 'Cartoon cancel culture'...ok. Let's unpack it shall we. Another post I was on asked who's next in light of Peepy La Pew being the latest focus for those who cant really focus on what really MATTERS (more on that coming soon). My answer and take is this:

Who/what's next and possibly scheduled for shutdown? Woody Woodpecker...Pink Panther...Banana Splits...Adams Family... (Morticia Adams speaking French set Gomez into 'thirst' mode...) ALL Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck interactions... Droopy the dog...Heckle and Jeckle... Tom & Jerry...Mad Magazine Spy vs Spy...ALL superhero cartoons have 'stepped on toes' at one time or another... Josie and the 'Pussycats'...Scooby Doo...Bullwinkle and Rocky... Yogi Bear...

Hell, lets just get a class action suit against Hanna Barbara. It's getting out of hand and unfortunately the sleepwalking 'woke' crowd and the attached agenda (which isnt organic btw) can't see what's coming up the road and how cartoons are now the latest thing to be weaponized against 'sumpeepo' first and eventually everybody. (It will work its way back to guess who and where?)

The thing is these are NOT the REAL WORLD or the thing to focus on...comedy/cartoons/fantasy are all just that. The images all came from someone's imagination and that's what should be the bigger picture focus. Want to make a change, then engage the REAL world that are making laws as we speak, from someone's vision of the future (imagination) to put 'sumpeepo' back in slavery but 'stimulating' us all into accepting it. It wont be the past tense version so this requires some progressive THINKING and looking ahead. It will be something the world has never seen before (cough cough social media) and all indicators seems to be that a foundation for it is being laid down today for years to come.

Shutting down everything that offends somebody means shutting down the entire human race. Now here's a REAL challenge I'm reminded of by something Tony Brown (most of the so called 'woke' crowd probably doesn't even know who he is) once said: An Indian (oops, Native American) asked a cowboy why they always won in the movies even though it was not accurate. The Cowboy answered SMUGLY, "When YOU start making your own movies then YOU can win...all the time"

Have WE done everything we can to make sure our image and place in the REAL world is solid for the next 50 years and beyond? We just saw Coming to America 2 release. I don't feel any kind of way about it because it pretty much was what I expected, my question is, did it take 30 years for Eddie Murphy to come up with that? Why now?

I'll have more to say for those who may want to hear my thoughts and opinions. Disclaimer: These are MY thoughts and MY opinions. Those that have followed me for years know that I don't do trolling mindless, numbskull, arguments.

I don't have to be 'right' nor do I suffer the fools that think they are 'right' and I'm off. EVERYBODY is 'right', now what? These are opinions and we've always welcomed other's opinions because that's how we learn and grow TOGETHER and not apart.

One more thing...I've been asked for years now when the Light 08 radio experience would be back. All I'll say is, 'what did the monkey say when he got his tail cut off? A: It won't be long now... stay tuned and I NEVER stopped Loving you all.
