So, why did I start this page and the corresponding blog? For starters, after decades of useful idiot production brought to us by Hollywood, mainstream media, public schools, and the university system, conservatism has a serious image problem. To the average person who doesn’t pay much attention to politics, the word conservative conjures up images of stuffy, Brooks Brother wearing, old white dude
s riding in limos down Wall St, or Scrooge McDuck swimming around in his tower of gold coins. Well, I’ve never been in a limo, I don’t have any gold coins, and I’m not old…yet. Most are just normal people working to provide a life for themselves and their families. The old, liberal perpetuated notions have run their course and it’s time for them to be retired to history’s trash heap. Conservatism has a new face…the face of young people like me who are pi**ed off that a wannabe oppressive ideology, fueled by envy, is in the process of destroying a great country based on the brilliant concept of self-governance and liberty. Second, I have this burning desire to be a thorn in the side of liberalism, communism, Marxism, socialism, progressivism, or whatever Orwellian newspeak term they rebrand themselves with in the future.
