PS if you need a baby model, Lincoln did all his own poses and will wait until you take the picture he wants lol and he only ate a few sprinkles so there was almost no mess to clean up haha - so please hire this baby!

Dynamic Lighting Tutorial 🧨💡📜🎥 To me, dynamic lighting means lots of light and lots of shadows. Contrast! There are tons of different ways to light a subject, so I wanted to show you a simple way to get what I think is an interesting looking result. • Pull your subject far away from the background. If you press your subject to the wall, often times the subject is swallowed up by it and does not stand out. • A light hidden behind/above your subject adds to this. The light hitting the back of their shoulders will physically separate them from the background. • With your main light, bring it as physically close as possible and make it as big of a light as possible. The bigger and closer the light, the more the light can wrap around the subject’s face and create cool shadows. • Objects in the background are tricky for me. You want something that isn’t distracting and that doesn’t take away from your message, but also if your background is completely bare, that can be just as distracting and can take the audience out of the moment. Plants and flames baby! 🪴🔥👌 • Different focal lengths can also be tricky. Not only can is distort the image, as I mentioned above, but it can mess up your “working distance”. I have done this before when I used a 135mm lens (very narrow so I had to be very far away) and I was practically shouting at my subject to give them direction. Not the best way to go about it! ~ That’s my Dynamic Lighting Tutorial! Thanks and I hope you learned something!
