A man from Mansura is wanted by the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office for allegedly committing a home invasion and attempted r**e.

APSO Seeking Assistance in Locating a Wanted Fugitive (Shooting)

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting your assistance in locating and apprehending 28-year-old Charles Jacobs of Mansura, LA. Our investigation has revealed that on Sunday, September 11, 2022, he was involved in a shooting in the Fifth Ward Community.
APSO is also being assisted by the United States Marshall Fugitive Task Force. Charles Jacobs is described as a black male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall. Jacobs could possibly be driving a gray-colored Chevrolet Impala with aftermarket tail lights, headlights, and rims. This subject should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you have any information, please contact the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit at 318-253-4000.

Note: All persons named or shown in photographs and/or videos as suspects in a criminal investigation, or arrested and charged with a crime, have not yet been convicted of that criminal offense and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
