Blooms courtesy of my mom’s garden and vases were my grandmother’s 💛

My mom surprised me with these beautiful peonies and vintage vases. Always dreamed of having these vases in my home, and here they are. Love having a piece of my grandma in my favourite nook. 🥰

I see you, Reitmans new Curvy jeans 👀 it’s the NO gaping in the back for me! Which look is your favourite: 1, 2 or 3?

These jeans are pure MAGIC—the contoured waistband doesn’t cut into me, the front pockets offer extra support and the all-over stretch brings alllllll the comfy. Can’t wait to bring on the curves this spring!

These jeans will make you want to wear jeans again 👊

It’s Friday & the sun is SHINING! What are your weekend plans? ☀️🧡

I’ll be busy doin’ nothin’ 😅 a.k.a. relaxing in this cozy loungewear set! Been mixing-and-matching my fave sets (did you catch my reel from earlier this week?) and I’ve been loving pairing this playful orange fleece sweatshirt with these yellow joggers. Match made in comfy heaven and ONLY $17 each!

I picked up some items in-store (safe and secure experience) and online from the comfort of my couch (sooo easy!). Can’t wait to see what colour combos you come up with – all avail in 1X to 3X (I’m wearing the 1X).

Where I’ve been spending most of my days 💭

This cozy corner in our kitchen is one of my go-to spots, and where I spend A LOT of my time (working, eating, looking out the window and dreaming of spring, writing this caption 😅).

When we first walked into this house, I immediately imagined a dreamy nook area in this exact spot by the window (it gets the perfect light). So as soon as it was ours, we added a built-in banquette, soft wallpaper, a bunch of throw pillows and the rest is history!

I’ve had a lot of DMs about our home (it’s over 100 years old!) and I’m planning on sharing more - let me know what you’d like to see! 🏠⬇️

MAJOR heart eyes for this dress & allll the ways to style it 😍😍😍

Went for a casual, cool (& warm!) vibe by styling it over a turtleneck with sheer tights and combat boots. Last week (in my V-Day reel), I paired it with a white turtleneck and heels - so versatile and cuuuute! 💘 Can’t wait to lose the turtleneck layer once spring arrives.

Puffer coat, real talk... 💬⬇️

💭✖️ My previous mindset: I can’t wear a puffer jacket, it’s bulky and boxy. I should only wear styles that are ‘flattering’ to my body.

💭✔️ My current mindset: I want to wear a puffer jacket, so I’m going to wear a puffer jacket.

Let’s STOP restricting ourselves to only wearing what’s ‘flattering’ and let’s START wearing what makes us feel good. And damn, does this puffer make me feel good! 😅

Today’s reminder to wear ALL👏🏻THE👏🏻THINGS👏🏻!!! For so long, I used clothing as a means to hide my body. I’ve always LOVED fashion, but I felt that my body wasn’t deserving of being stylish. I would spot styles that I SO badly wanted to wear, and would immediately tell myself, “that wouldn’t look good on me… I could NEVER pull that off”, without even giving myself the chance to try them on. Then one day, something changed - I was tired of hiding my body. I was going to wear what I WANTED to wear 👏🏻 and it was so freeing!!! I’m not going to lie, it took time for me to get comfortable with my body and with wearing clothing that highlights it (I still have my days), but it has been SO worth it. This is all to say, you CAN wear what you want to wear and you WILL look fabulous in it. Give yourself a chance and there’s no turning back. You’ll be twirling in a sequinned fringe skirt in no time! 💃🏻✨
