Almost every year I end up posting a picture of my apple crisp and everyone asks for the recipe so I'm just going to include it. This is from my Betty Crocker cookbook I got 40 years ago. As you can see I made a few tweaks. I don't like the flavor of nutmeg in it and I don't like too much cinnamon so I only use a few shakes instead of a quarter teaspoon. My other tips are I use tart apples because that makes a perfect sweet and tart balance and I use a pastry blender or fork to get the crisp into little clumps.
