SUSHI
The Japanese designed something really good here. Cool shape, long lasting, tough and so fun to drive.
I found “Sushi” in a paddock as a rusty wreck and recycled her into this FJ40 Land Cruiser.
Original engine and numbers from 1969. 50,000 miles on the clock.
Painted the original spring green with no modifications made except the stereo.
Now I’m about to start another project….

Maybe this could be the best place to be in Australia in July. I have been working on so much lately that I haven’t been able to share but it’s taken me to really nice locations like Tahiti and this beautiful part of Australia where grew up.
This camera still blows my mind. No batteries just simple pieces of metal all working together designed by the Japanese in 1969 to produce beautiful images that hold up against any digital camera today.

Shot the campaign on film. Scans of the neg look incredible. Zero editing, just think about it and press the shutter. Thanks to my lighting guy you carried that 8 by 8 all over the cliffs.

I think I enjoy shooting waves the most. The chase, the long drives, the early mornings, hunting for spots and conditions to line up perfectly. I don’t think I will ever not be passionate about it.
