The Yellow Book (magazine of the 1890s) Edited by Henry Harland and Aubrey Beardsley, "The Yellow Book" was published by Elkin Mathews and John Lane beginning in 1894.

There were 13 issues total, with the publication coming to an end in 1897. Beardsley was fired after the fourth volume.

"I am sure you will be vastly interested to hear that Harland and myself are about to start a new literary and artistic Quarterly. "The Yellow Book" differed from other periodicals in that it was issued clothbound, made a strict distinction between the literary and art contents, did not include serial fiction, and contained no advertisements except publishers' lists.
