Q: ”What impact will artificial intelligence (AI) have on Fashion Film and filmmaking?"

Vitória: I am a Brazilian director completely inspired by the world of fashion and all its artistic expressions. I am the director of the Fashion Film "Rereading Of Changes", which is in the festival's official selection. My portfolio is basically made up of fashion films, which is why I love the subject of artificial intelligence within a cinematographic and fashion context.

For me, the impact that artificial intelligence will have on the world of fashion films is gigantic. This tool will expand the possibilities for making films, allow artists to come up with new ideas and will even possibly generate a new filmic and aesthetic language for films.

I, for example, use this tool in several ways: from generating an image through resources like "Mid Journey" that will inspire the look of my films, to helping me with research on the specific theme I'm working on in the film , bringing relevant information so that I can compose my scripts.

The creative possibilities generated from artificial intelligence are endless.

Answer shared by María Paz Serra, Julieta Olivieri, Martina Sainz Ballesteros: “We believe Artificial Intelligence will be an ally tool, with which we can bring to life the craziest and most challenging ideas we can come up with. It will also help to speed up pre-production processes, such as storyboarding, or scenario inspiration. It is the access to non-existent references, which allows us to pre-visualize the ideas. Anyway, no matter how much this technology grows, it's always the ideas that make the difference.”
