My mom gave this book to Mila for her birthday last year. She listened to it a few times, but she’s listened to it 4-5 times everyday since she found out. Her and her cousin Hadley even listened to it and cried together today. It’s a lot for her, but I’m so incredibly glad that my mom did this. I’ll be needing her to read me a story too.

I was not ready, but when will you ever be ready to put your best friend in the entire world to sleep. I know it is best & you are in a better place, but my heart physically aches knowing you won’t be here anymore. Thank you for being the best dog 🐶 ever. 14 years of support and love during every season of my life. Jobs, heart break, love, everything you were right by my side. You were a tv dog from day one, which if you see the last video is my weather open from WCIA days after I brought her home. She didn’t even need to be coached on how to turn your head. That was the first try. ❤️❤️❤️ It was a hard start bc of your surgery, but you have been the best big doggy sister to Mila since the moment she joined our family. Navigating this new life without won’t be east, but again thank you for being so loyal and loving for 14 years. I hope you are eating a ton of green bones, laying in the sunshine and soaking up a life with no pain. Love you the boogs ❤️😭😭😭😭
