Whoever says Disneyland is the happiest place on earth has never been to an ethical Elephant sanctuary 🥹 is an amazing place where rescued and old elephants can live the rest of their lives in peace🥹 it’s so amazing and the elephants are incredibly gentle and some may allow you to pet them ❤️ you learn the back story of each elephant and how they ended up at the sanctuary. Plus a little of the history of elephants in Thailand. if you visit Thailand, instead of riding elephants or viewing them as entertainment, consider visiting an ethical sanctuary instead. The experience is much more meaningful, fulfilling and the elephants are so much happier ❤️ if you’re looking for ethical sanctuaries, I recommend and 🐘

Used up all my storage at in Thailand- an elephant and animal rescue sanctuary which houses many rescued and/or injured elephants and other animals. It was such an amazing experience! There are many sanctuaries in Thailand but this one felt most ethical to me out of other ones near Chiang Mai. No bathing or feeding and no guarantee of interactions with elephants- which tells me they care about the animals well-being, Not our entertainment. We did get to say hi to and pet one of the girls that was deemed “the friendly girl”😍 I have a million more photos so I’m gonna become an elephant account
