I craft my wedding films to allow you to step back in time and relive your love story. Hi there! I'm Hollie. The owner and videographer behind Fleck Films. I'm a trained videographer with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. I proudly sport a Midwest accent but have lived all over. I became a mama to our son, Hank, in 2019. Being a boy mama has been the best thing to happen to me. I spent

10 years working in television news before starting my own videography business. My grandma, Adeline, is the inspiration behind Fleck Films. I'm a big believer in "goosebump" moments. For me- it's what real love is made of. It's those undeniable feelings that grip your gut and make you feel something. I intend to capture as many of these emotional moments as I can for you on your wedding day. My hope is to honor my grandma through my weddings films. I want to help you capture the fleeting moments, the remarkable people and your candid love for each other. You may not always remember how it felt on your wedding day but your wedding film will always be there to remind you. 🚨Sappy Post Alert 🚨

After last weekend’s wedding with Summer and Sebastian, I realized my favorite thing about being a wedding videographer.

It allows me this incredibly rare opportunity to feel and experience so many different types of love.

The loud and full of laughter love.
The stoic and strong kind of love.
The emotional and sentimental.
The silent and supportive.
The light hearted and joyful.
The challenges and triumphs.
The steadfast, hand in hand, til we’re old and gray kind of love.

It’s truly the greatest gift. After a wedding day, I am always so renewed in the strength and power of love and family. So as I end my Louisville wedding era, thank you to all of my amazing couples for showing me A L L the love 🥰😍😘

Everyone is healthy and happy and soooo grateful.

Hank loves his sister so much. He sings to her during diaper changes, tells his parents what his sister needs, helps with diaper changes and tells her he loves her so much.

We are in baby girl bliss 😍

🚨UPDATE 🚨

I’m a little embarrassed to admit, but the last post I pinned to my profile said I was “now booking 2023” 🤣 Needless to say I’m a little behind 😅

But after my busiest September ever and some BIG CHANGES coming soon for my business and my family, I thought I should do a little update.

In September I had:
✔️ Husband’s 40th Birthday
✔️ Moms birthday
✔️ Son’s 4th birthday
✔️ 4 weddings + rehearsal dinner
✔️all while 6 months pregnant 🤰🏼

Life has been crazy! But driving home from my last wedding this weekend, I realized how truly lucky I am to have my DREAM JOB. It makes the balancing of life, work and family just a little easier because I feel so blessed and fulfilled to be doing this work.

For the end of 2023- I am working HARD crafting some heartfelt wedding films for my couples while also getting ready for our second child, a baby girl coming in December.

Then the countdown is officially on for my family and I to move back to North Carolina in May 2024. It is SO bittersweet.

These last ten months have flown by and I am trying to soak up all the great days behind me and in front of me.

As this year comes to a close I will be transitioning a lot of my focus to transitioning the business to NC. So if you are getting married in NC in 2024-2025, feel free to reach out! I’d love to hear from you.

Anyone else watch his new documentary? It was so honest and vulnerable and raw.

The quote above resonated so deeply with me that I immediately started writing my thoughts down in my notes app and I wanted to share it with you guys.

“Here's the down and dirty.
I’m not here to promote myself. I’m here to share the magic that is love caught on video---unposed, real, raw, happy, down in your bones, feels good in your soul ---love.

It's not suppose to be a marketing tool. It's real.

And I get to capture it for my couples so they can relive it forever.

It's not a gimmick.
It's not a ploy.
It's honest.

And I love every second of it. When I stop and think of what I gift my clients, it’s the gift of time….
Of holding onto a day...a moment… a person… just a little bit longer.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that I don't do it for Instagram or some algorithm. I do it for you. Always have, always will.”

I know a lot of creators or artist, myself included, get caught up in the rat race of sharing because we feel like we have to or need to. But trying to manufacture love for the sake of resale seems gross to me. I will always share my couples love stories on here with honest intent. I’m proud of the work and I want people to experience the happiness I do when watching the wedding films.

I’m a sucker for a Fall wedding 🍁

Lindsey had a real vision for her wedding day. I remember her saying, instead of bouquets her bridal party would hold lanterns. I was immediately like— SOLD! LOVE IT!

I have so loved getting to go through all their wedding footage. They had the most gorgeous October day and was a perfect outdoor venue.

Also, let’s hear it for Mr. Louie the pup. He was the best little dude all day. I’m also a sucker for dogs at a wedding. My pup Otis was is almost all of our reception photos and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐶💛

Despite feeling the most overwhelmed and busiest I’ve ever been, I feel so incredibly lucky and joyful to do this work.

Working on and Joe’s wedding film and soaking up all the loving words and laughter these families share makes my heart so stinkin’ full.

This “season” of life feels hard.

This is truly the busiest I have ever been. And there is SO much gratitude for how much my business has grown but there is also SO much pressure, stress, anxiety— you name it.

Have you ever felt the irony of hoping and praying for things and then they come and you somehow feel unprepared or overwhelmed by all the things you wished for 🤯😵‍💫😥

I’ve filmed more weddings than ever.
September is filled with all the birthdays.
We’ve traveled.
We’ve been sick.
We lost a dog. We found him.
We’ve been sick again.
And just yesterday we had to say goodbye to our other dog, after 12 years with her.

Life seems to be happening very fast these days. And while I prayed for busy days with clients and work, I’m now praying for peace and a slow down.

I’m sharing this in hopes of getting things off my chest and off my mind. Whatever season of life you find yourself in, I hope you find peace.

I’m working on something special for my clients and truly excited for the beautiful Fall weddings in October 🍁🍂
My absolute favorite time of year.

My last few adventure sessions have been so unique ✨

What is an adventure session?

Think of it like a date night!
It’s a time for you and your partner to spend some quality time together— pre wedding day + I tag along to grab some special moments on video.

Some people call them story sessions, engagement sessions, adventure sessions.

I like adventure sessions because it really is a “choose your own adventure” situation.

This experience is designed specifically for each of my couples.

-what do you do for fun
-how do you spend a Saturday morning
-are your outdoorsy or more Netflix and chill with the pup
-how do you like to spend your time together

There is no wrong answer!

My latest session was a walk with the pup and cocktails on the back porch 😍

My next session is going to be a “colorful” one with 🎨 and Matthew!

Midweek thoughts…

In the wedding videography industry there is always a lot of talk about the importance of having a consistent style or look.

Honestly, this is something I struggle with because rather than hold myself to one specific style, I look to my couples for inspiration and develop a film based on their unique love.

So when you look on my website or social media you’ll find my films will always looks and feel different because my couples are all different.

And I kinda love that 💛

But a few things you can always count on in a Fleck Wedding Film is laughter, voices, personality.
The sun flare between the trees, the candid moments between family and friends and all the passion and commitment from me!

Behind the edit⬇️ I know hype edits are a big trend right now and I normally steer clear of most trends, however, after I experienced the powerful drum solo entrance at Summer and Sebastian’s wedding- I knew I had to find a way to recreate that energy in their film. Plus, Summer expressed to me that their wedding day was about all the people that love and support them. So this faster paced edit allowed me to show a lot of guests smiling faces and fun interactions without taking up too much time. My absolute favorite moment is capturing Summer mouth the words “I love you” to her guest at cocktail hour 🥹 Just know- as your videographer- there is thorough intention and thought behind all my decisions. I am always asking myself- why are we doing this? How does it enhance the story?
