The visual kei band JILUKA dropped a brutal music video for their new single S4VAGE on May 25. This is JILUKA’s first single since becoming an independent band. S4VAGE will be available on streaming services in June 2024.

The fiery music video engulfs the band as they play through the new track. Imagery from previous music videos has been reinterpreted, taking the rich golden tapestries from VENOM‘s music video, S4VAGE reintroduces them and consumes them in flames. Accommodating the flames, the JILUKA aesthetic shapes the video, filled with neon lighting and glitchy video effects, emulating the chaotic and playful track.Fans of JILUKA’s latest singles will not be disappointed—S4VAGE takes their electro gothic metal (EGM) style to new heights. Brutal breakdowns and aggressive electronics make for a chaotic concoction, requiring multiple listens to wrap your head around. Adding to the chaos, guitarist Sena showcases his rap vocals, a unique side of JILUKA we would love to hear more of.

Switzerland-based startup FinalSpark has developed a unique “living computer” using 16 mini brains made from human brain tissue, positioning it as an alternative to silicon-based computing.

Researchers can remotely access this biocomputer, called Neuroplatform, for studies on artificial intelligence, which typically require significant resources.

According to FinalSpark’s scientist Ewelina Kurtys, biological computing uses neurons that consume much less energy than digital processors.

The startup aims to advance biocomputer research and reduce greenhouse emissions while improving AI model generalization through this innovative approach.

Yo peeps sorry for the inactivity lately, been busy with the usual life problems unfortunately but hey at least I was lucky enough to finally see the Christian Metal/Rock legends of my AMV nostalgic teen years, RED, live at the 02 Islington venue here in London! 😁

Crazy to think I've been a fan of theirs since I disovered them back in the mid to late 2000s and only now I got to finally hear them live 🤔 the feels were real when they played tracks from "End of Silence" and "Innocence & Instinct"...so much so I strained my damn vocal chords shouting along xD (apologies on my singing attempts caught on mic lol😅)

Big shoutout to the support bands LANSDOWNE and RUN ZEUS RUN who both put on amazing sets and had amazing stage presence too!

Deffo recommend seeing RED live, truly a gig experience to remember 🙏

Also, Happy 18th Anniversary to the End of Silence album too! 🤘
