An intimate gathering soundtracked by Caribbean, Latin and African music, with a particular focus on dancehall, reggae and grime. They’ve brought their high-energy parties to festivals and venues across Ireland, Brazil, Europe and the UK. Their debut EP, Pass The Aux Cord, on Sim Simma Records encapsulates and chronicles an exciting snapshot of possibilities for Irish-based globally-rooted music –

evident in hit singles ‘Yamma Yamma‘ with Breezy iDeyGoke and ‘Man Like Me’ featuring Denise Chaila & God Knows. Since 2014, their passion for music and inclusivity have brought people together in ways many other clubnights are unable to do. Sim Simma are a collective who specialise in creating inclusive, friendly and high energy parties around the world. Their passion for music extends across various styles such as reggae, calypso, dancehall, grime, afrobeat, highlife, cumbia and música popular Brasileira. Since 2014, Sim Simma has grown from a weekly social in Dublin to hosting international boat parties, running festival stages and supporting high calibre DJs & MCs such as AJ Tracey, Akala, Johnny Osbourne, Karol Conka, Nadia Rose and Sister Nancy. Most recently, the collective have launched their debut EP 'Sim Simma Soundsystem - Pass The Aux Cord' on their own label Sim Simma Records. The release in early 2019 garnered a premiere from BBC Radio 1 legend Annie Mac, and received critical acclaim from many other DJs and tastemakers worldwide. To follow this, the group have set up an enthralling live show complete with live dancers and MCs available for concert tours and festivals.
