2 under $100 Burgundy recs, save this for your next wine shop trip!🍷 Both are perfect for the season - cozy, soulful, and made for fall dishes!

1️⃣ Jean-Claude Rateau Beaune 1er Cru — biodynamic pioneer with earthy red fruit and silky texture. Around $60–70, and one of the most charming “affordable” 1er Crus out there. Pairs beautifully with roast chicken or mushroom risotto.

2️⃣ Jérôme Galeyrand Gevrey-Chambertin “Les Croisettes” — pure Gevrey spice and depth without the usual price tag. Try it with duck, truffle pasta, or just a good cheese board.

Proof that Burgundy can still feel special without breaking the bank. 😉

Transitioning into fall with my favorite whites—bigger, richer, and perfect with seasonal flavors. Think fall salads, roasted veggies, and grilled shrimp. ✨🍂

1️⃣ Antinori Castello della Sala Cervaro – Chardonnay & Grechetto blend, aged in barriques, notes of chamomile, flint, vanilla, butter & tropical fruit.
2️⃣ Gaja Langhe Rossj Bass – golden, vibrant, grapefruit, papaya, pear, floral & spicy hints, built to age beautifully.
3️⃣ Giuseppe Quintarelli Bianco Secco – 30-year-old vines, mineral-driven, luscious, with delicate floral aromas.

Fall in a glass? Absolutely🍁

Been a while since our last Aussie Shiraz, so we had to open a true classic: 1996 Penfolds Grange🍷

An exceptional vintage and a heritage icon of Australia, this bottle has spent nearly 30 years evolving into something truly remarkable. Rich, powerful, and layered with flavor that lingers long after each sip. Power wrapped in elegance — a rare chance to taste history, and it did not disappoint.

Have you ever tried Grange? 👀🍇

Save this for your next wine store trip 🍷✨

Think Bordeaux is intimidating (and $$$)? It doesn’t have to be. Here are two affordable, fantastic picks that are perfect for those late-summer grills:

Château Le Puy “Émilien” (~$60) - Silky with fine tannins and pure elegance. A refined Bordeaux without the splurge.
Clos Manou (~$30) - Dense and rich with plum, berry, and cherry notes. Full-bodied, soft tannins, and a flavorful finish.

Who’s ready to fire up the grill and pour a glass? 🥩

A night to remember at Noksu 🍷✨

Noksu turns dining into theatre — each course a tiny work of art, almost too beautiful to eat. Paired with a stunning lineup from Morey-Saint-Denis:

Domaine Roumier 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière 2004 – gracefully mature, earthy with dried cherry and a touch of spice.
Domaine Hubert Lignier 1er Cru La Riotte 2016 – vibrant and structured, brimming with red berries and fine tannins.
Domaine Cécile Tremblay Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard 2018 – youthful and expressive, silky with fresh raspberry and floral lift.

Tag someone you’d want to share this meal with — or save it to your NYC eats list! 🍷

One of the best parts of traveling? Stumbling upon bottles you can’t find at home. 🤩

We’d heard great things about this Jura gem Domaine de Saint Pierre Savagnin “Autrement”, but never spotted it in the US. Found it in Salzburg and wow… it delivered! 💚 Fresh, complex, and just the right amount of spice — think citrus peel, a touch of orange and lemon zest, delicate white flowers, and that vibrant, saline edge that makes you keep reaching for the glass.

Paired beautifully with everything from salad and sea bass to the most unforgettable fried prawns I’ve ever had. 🍤

If you’re in Salzburg: highly recommend this spot — and this bottle.
