🌞 Sponsorships for the 2nd Annual Tacos y Tequila Festival are available!

The HBPA Spokane Hispanic Business/Professional Association (HBPA) is excited to host the 2nd Annual Tacos Y Tequila Festival, Saturday & Sunday, August 27 & 28, 2022 in Downtown Spokane.

HBPA is committed to promoting and enhancing professional relationships within the Hispanic/Latino community, as well as cultural and educational interests in the Inland Northwest. This Scholarship Fundraising event is 2 full days of amazing food, vibrant music, and of course a splash of high-class tequila. Tacos Y Tequila will host local taco trucks and restaurants, a beer/tequila garden, live music and entertainment, as well as booths for art vendors and community resources.

We hope you will consider contributing to this fiesta and fun so that we may continue to provide educational scholarships to our Latino/Hispanic youth. The Hispanic Business/Professional Association (HBPA) Foundation of the Inland Northwest is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (TIN 74-3200153), making your donation/sponsorship eligible for a charitable tax deduction.

Monies raised for this event will be awarded at the Annual Hispanic Graduates & Young Scholars Recognition Ceremony in May, 2023.

José Cortés Fernandez is the most sought after Flamenco Cantaor in the states. Jose was born in the south of France in 1974 into an important gypsy family from Almería. At the age of ten, José began his career in Jerez de la Frontera Spain where he won the "premio del joven aficionado del cante flamenco," accompanied on guitar by Terremoto hijo. Since then, he has worked with Flamenco’s very best in the world. He moved to The United States in 2010. Now Jose works with the best Flamenco’s of this country. Quiero Flamenco is lucky to be able to work and learn from this incredible artist.

Cool things happening!

We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Magic Lantern on Main aka Magic Lantern of Spokane to bring you every episode of season two on the big screen! Not only will we be hosting premiere events at the theater, there will also be showtimes available for purchase on their website! We are very excited to bring you these episodes on the big screen and together in person! These will be ticketed events and ourselves and each band will have the opportunity to set up a merch booth, so be sure to join us and help us support local music and local business! Beer and wine will also available for purchase through the theater!
