| What bucket list places do you want to visit in 2026? 🇰🇪 🇻🇳 🇨🇭

I won my first trip with Intrepid Travel back in 2023 before I became a full-time travel creator and I have loved their trips ever since! Kenya, Vietnam & Switzerland were highhhh on my bucket list and now they are memories in my junk journal 🥰

And now Intrepid is having their biggest sale of the year for Black Friday on over 200 group trips until December 4th! Click the link in my bio or their bio for details. Here’s what’s catching my eye for 2026 train trips:

🚂 Kenya by Rail: Trains, Safaris & Beaches

🇩🇰 Taste of Scandinavia: Sweden & Denmark

🇪🇸 Best of Spain (I lived here from 2016-2017 but a train trip back would be so cool)

Finally get that group trip out the group chat in 2026!

My experience traveling as a Black woman while in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

I am always open to visiting and learning from places where people don’t look like me. I think that’s a huge part of how I got interested in traveling - like I jumped from no international travel to 5 months of study abroad immersion in Spain a decade ago lol!

However as someone newer to traveling in Asia, one thing I’ve learned in particular is how hyper visible I feel at times. It’s a lot of attention I’m not accustomed to experiencing and can be overwhelming when I just want to be a tourist and learn about the place I’m visiting.

Do I still want to visit other Asian countries? Of course because I have a long bucket list! But I think it’s important to contextualize experiences to avoid generalizing people while also sharing mine. Also note I was with a group, not solo!

Watch the whole video for context and thank you for watching/listening 🫶🏾

| Soooo what is the food like in Uzbekistan? 🇺🇿

Here are a few must-try bites you can’t leave without tasting. Which one are you craving? Drop your emoji below! 👇🏾

🥖 = Hot, fresh bread out the tandir oven

🥕 = Plov, Uzbekistan’s national dish

🎃 = Samsas, veggie or meat-stuffed pastry

😋 = I want to try it ALL

If you have specific dietary restrictions always communicate that with your tour guides!
