We don’t want to give too much away about this gem of a book, but there’s much to be seen in fifty pages! All in all, who wouldn’t want to read a book about dragons, while learning at the same time? Energy is everything.



Our physical matter broken down is energy.

This isn't to say that energy is more important than physical manifestations of it.



And, often times it's the last thing we look at or approach.

Phew! The last couple of days were intense over here.

It started with Taylor Swift…

It was almost her birthday and of course, everyone was celebrating.

And of course, my daughter wanted to go to the roller skating night featuring the music of TS.

For years, I wouldn’t skate. I knew my body couldn’t handle the fall, but feeling better all the time I recently began at the random family outings there.

I’m not great, but I stay upright and stay at my pace. Like a turtle. 🐢

Until I didn’t. With tweets and teens all around chanting the lyrics of their Queen, my feet came out from under me and I fell on my ass.

My first thought was get up or be trampled. My next was, I hope I didn’t injure my wrist or shoulder.

Thankfully, I didn’t. But what I soon learned was that I did injure some muscles and ligaments in my ribs. Fun.

So healing regimen thanks to my awesome chiro, I began to be able to exist with less pain.

But still no exercise.

Soon after I learned someone who had a big impact on my life had passed. And I’ve been grieving that loss. For me, for his beautiful girls and for the world that lost a spark of hope.

Add in the holidays and wow, that’s a recipe for intensity.

How do you expel that excess energy?

I love to sweat and exercise. It’s therapeutic for my mind, body and soul.

Bring on delays in projects, some intense energy and lots to do and the past two days had me questioning the whole of everything I’ve been creating, wanting to create and feeling I would.

I fasted most of yesterday to let the energy move easier. I cried. I yelled. I danced. I sang. I gave myself space. I asked for and received the support I needed.

Feeling well enough, I hopped on my peloton this morning and ripped in an already intense ride. I pushed and pushed, letting it flow out, burning off the stagnancy, trapped energy and emotions.

I’m back.

I share this because I’ve had clients tell me they think I’m even, peaceful and connected all the time. I’m not. I’m human and have very real 3D bu****it happen.

I feel very deeply, both love and pain. I cry about the injustices of the world. I cry happy tears. I get bitter and frustrated. And I think about quitting.

Then I pull myself up, straighten my damn crown and remember who the f*ck I am and what I came here to do.

I just finished the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

This last book had me feeling all the feels.

Interesting, because the first book of two were kind of meh for me but I committed after reading A Court of Thorns and Roses series and loving it.

Thinking on it, I think what really struck me (without spoiling anything) was this theme or seeking of a better world. At times it was subtle and others it was central, but always there.

How much of your life did you feel like you didn’t belong here because you could see through the BS, the propaganda to the truth, when it seemed like no one else around you did or could?

Things that others aren’t even aware of or question. And feeling like an outsider because of it. It took me a long time to understand this as a gift. It’s hard and it hurts like hell a lot, but seeing through the illusions is part of my mission. If you have felt this, I’m sure it’s yours too.

In a world with so much deception and gaslighting, it can get exhausting and many of us end up with some level of self-doubt.

It can become more challenging to know what our truth is, what our voice is saying and learning to trust it again. Especially when the majority and seemingly from eveyrwhere we are getting the message that we are wrong. It breaks your spirit down and many get caught in this place.

The world needs you to call out the illusion, to find others who also see it and to change the narrative. A better world is possible and like any change we first need to be aware of what needs to change.

To a better world. 🥂
