The Good Shepherd Baptist Church sends our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Clarence Joshua Moore II during this sad and difficult time. We are here for you.

The homegoing service will be held at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1714 Olive Road, Augusta, GA 30904, on Friday, November 3rd at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

LAKE SEARCH CONTINUES
The search for the bodies of Eynn Wilson and Edward “EJ” Kirk continued Wednesday at Clarks Hill Lake. An evening update from DNR:
“We haven’t located them but here are a few stats on the search so far. We have searched roughly 1/2 square mile (600 acres). The sector scan has been dropped approximately 300 times. Divers have been down 12 times so far clearing possible sonar targets.”
Also, the GBI has joined the investigation, especially after a video surfaced showing at least one of the men was pushed into the lake before drowning.

TRAIN DERAILMENT IN AUGUSTA INJURES 1
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office responded Wednesday to the 1800 Block of Glass Factory Avenue to assist Norfolk Southern with a train derailment. It happened around 6 p.m.
There is one reported injury. The train derailment will be investigated by the railroad authorities as it falls under their jurisdiction. As of now, there were no reported hazardous materials that spilled or leaked from the derailment, sheriff's Sgt. Caleb Lee said.
