WCHS Class of 2025!

The City of Wi******er Park Board would like to gather interest in the community hosting a graduation party in Goodrich Park for all 2025 WCHS graduates, their families and their guests. Having something like this would require help from families, other grades, the school, community, organizations, and businesses. Many positive reasons to offer this have been shared.

Here are some ideas:
• The event would immediately follow the graduation ceremony and have an established rain date.
• The park’s permanent shelters would be kept for all to use, but families would be welcome to bring their own 10X10 popup tents to create private party spaces for their graduate and guests (make sure the grandparents are comfortable!).
• Businesses & organizations may want to host or sponsor one of the permanent structures; then be creative with decorations, graduation swag bags, activities, food, cake, etc.
• We would need input & help from the students regarding a concert or DJ at the amphitheater, securing the entertainment, and raising sponsorships to pay for it.
• Graduates’ slideshow at the amphitheater
• Food Trucks
• Games
• As long as everyone is being responsible and safe, we don’t want to end the fun too soon. So, we are considering camping for graduates and late-night shuttles provided by responsible adults.
• Sunrise breakfast the following morning.
