An Urgent Appeal, it is requested that a talented and intelligent young student of village aged 18 years is suffering from a difficult heart disease (AP window with severe PAH) the only and final treatment for which according to the doctors is a heart and lung transplant. The cost of this transplant is estimated be around Rs.55 lakhs. But before this surgery, the patient has to be admitted in a private hospital(KIMS) in Hyderabad, where a team of expert doctors will examine the patient and decide about the feasibility of this transplant procedure . Necessary tests and check-ups will also cost approximately Rs.5 lakhs. But the father of this child is a poor labourer who hardly makes his both ends meet. However, the child is very capable and has passed the matriculation examination with good marks and has written 12th standard examination in science stream this year.

In view of these circumstances, we respectfully request you to help save a precious life by providing financial support to this child.It is noteworthy that the local Masjid committee of Thokarpura and Imam Juma Dab Ganderbal have also confirmed this matter.The patient's bank account details are given below:-

گزارش یوں ہے کہ ہمارے گاوں کا ایک قابل و ذہین نوجوان طالب علم عمر ١٨ سال پیدایشی طور ایک ایسے مشکل مرض قلب (AP window) میں مبتلا ہے جس کا واحد علاج ڈاکٹروں کے مطابق دل و پھیپھڑوں کا تبدل (Heart &lung transplant) ہے۔جس کا خرچہ لگ بھگ 55 لاکھ بتایا گیا ہے۔۔۔ لیکن اس سرجری سے پہلے مریض کو حیدر آباد کے ایک نجی ہسپتال میں داخل کرانا ہوگا جہاں پر ماہر ڈاکٹر وں کی ایک ٹیم مریض کی جانچ اور ٹیسٹ وغیرہ کرکے یہ فیصلہ کرے گی کہ آیا مریض کا Transplant ممکن ہے یا نہیں ۔۔۔ ضروری ٹیسٹوں اور چیک اپ پر بھی تخمیناً 5 لاکھ کا خرچہ آیے گا۔۔۔ لیکن اس بچے کا باپ ایک سفید پوش انسان ہے جو کہ محنت مزدوری کرکے اپنے اہل و عیال کا پیٹ پالتا ہے۔ اور زمین جایداد بھی نہ ہونے کے برابر ہے۔۔۔۔ حالانکہ بچہ بہت قابل ہے اور اس نے اچھے نمبرات کے ساتھ میٹرک کا امتحان پاس کرکے اسی سال بارھویں جماعت کا امتحان دیا ہے۔۔۔
ان حالات کے پیش نظر آپ سے مودبانہ التماس ہے کہ اس بچے کی مالی معاونت کرکے ایک قیمتی جان بچانے میں اپنا تعاون دیں۔۔۔
قابل ذکر ہے کہ مقامی مسجد کمیٹی ٹھوکر پورہ اور امام جمعہ ڈب گاندر بل نے بھی اس معاملے کی تصدیق کی ہے۔۔۔۔

Masroor Abbas Ansari appeals people to maintain peace

President J&K Ittihad Ul Muslimeen Moulana Masroor Ansari has appealed people to maintain peace. While reacting on the Magam incident Moulana Masroor Ansari took to twitter and write "Incident which was happened today in Magam really hurts our religious sentiments. Our devotion and feelings are related to Imam Khameini, Shaheed Soleimani and other great personalities so the Shia community of Kashmir cannot tolerate even the their desecration of their photos."

He further said that since Army Commanding Officer has apologised for the mistake so people should not further escalate the situation. He said" This Issue has been sorted out. Army Commanding officer has apologised for the mistake. I request to the Shia Community that now please don't make it an issue, have patience as there are some persons who always want to create disturbances. "

Ladies offer flowers to hijab-clad students outside Kashmir University

Srinagar, Feb 14, KNT: Local ladies on Monday offered flowers to hijab-clad students outside Kashmir University.

The local ladies were seen waiting outside Kashmir University carrying flowers in their hands and they were offering the flowers to those students who had put on hijab.

Hijab controversy has erupted in Indian southern state of Karnatka where a lesser-known Hindu outfit is demanding a ban on the hijab in schools and colleges. The matter has gone to court.

Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Trust, one of the ladies part of the group distributing flowers said that nobody has the right to decide about one’s attire. “Hijab is our choice and nobody can force and dictate us what we should wear or eat. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) has maintained that women should wear veil and not mingle with men,” she said.

Earlier, in South Kashmir’s Shopian district, a protest in support of hijab had erupted. (KNT)
