Here at Tiger Hype, we are constantly working to give our followers the best LSU coverage on the Web. Through the use of social networking such as Facebook and Twitter, we’ve ushered in a new way for fans to receive the latest LSU sports news, information, statistics, opinion and game coverage on a daily basis. We use everything from articles to pictures to videos to get fans hyped up about all th
ings Purple and Gold, and now we’re looking to take our analysis to a whole new level. So now you may be asking yourself, “What is it about this podcast that is different from other podcasts, and why should I listen?”
The goal for our new addition to the Tiger Hype arsenal is simple. We want to give our fans solid analysis in a short period of time. The podcast could be something to listen to while sipping on your morning coffee, or maybe some entertainment after a long day at work. Each podcast will be a 30-minute Blog Talk Radio program at least once per week beginning in August (The amount of shows per week may increase as the year goes on.), with each show being separated into three distinct parts. During the first 10 minutes of the show, your host, Tiger Hype’s very own Patrick Frey, will discuss and analyze any and all LSU sports news of the previous week. With this, listeners will be able to catch up on any headlines they may have missed in the world of Tigers sports. The second piece of the show will be a 10-minute segment for interviews with players, fellow analysts and anyone else we can get our hands on. If no interview is scheduled for a particular show, then we will open up a mailbag on the Tiger Hype page for fans to leave their questions. Those questions will be sorted through and answered on the podcast. The final 10 minutes of the program will be dedicated to opinionated discussion. If there’s a controversial call in Death Valley, this will be the time to talk about it. This portion of the show will also give fans the opportunity to voice their opinion through the mailbag and via phone call (a call-in number will be provided once the final product is up and running), as any controversial topics brought up by listeners will be discussed here. After every broadcast, the show will be saved into an archive on our show page at BlogTalkRadio.com. If you missed a show and would like to go back and listen, then you will be one simple click away. Also, every show will be posted on the Tiger Hype Facebook and Twitter pages upon completion, ensuring that all of our followers will know when a new program has been finished. With this new medium, we’re hoping to expand our work at Tiger Hype to new heights. You’ll love what we have in store! Oh, and as always, Geaux Tigers!
