The zoo said wildlife officials rescued the young bears in Alaska and they were named after two major league soccer teams, the Timbers and the Thorns. How cute is this? I know you are smiling now!!!

A Sumatran rhino was born at a sanctuary in Indonesia last week. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry says the birth is "good news" for rhino repopulation efforts. The World Wildlife Fund lists Sumatran rhinos as a "critically endangered" species. Check out how adorably ugly they are:

Oh deer! Bambi got stranded in the center of a partially frozen lake in New Mexico. The local fire department said a rescue swimmer was able to pull the deer off the lake. "Her legs were wobbly for a few feet, and then she trotted off into the forest appearing unharmed," the chief said.
