I get asked “Did you quit streaming?” Pretty often lately. For those that don’t know streaming has always been a second job for me.

My actual job is Active Duty military which is already a full time career on top of making sure I am spending most of my time with my family. When I used to stream almost everyday for 4 hrs after work and/or hanging out with family for a few hours, that was really hard on me physically and mentally. I was spreading myself thin to say the least. I was always tired or beginning to miss things with family because I would put the stream first in hopes of getting out of the military to do this full time.

Thankfully I didn’t take that leap especially with how uncertain the future of streaming is with the state if Facebook Gaming, which is why I’ve moved to twitch completely. We have all noticed on this platform even some of the biggest streamers that used to average big numbers for viewers, comments, likes, engagement overall, are struggling or having to find income elsewhere.

All in all I’ve cut back on streaming by about 95% because of the below thread. I never want my kids or my wife to ever feel like i didn’t put them first. I love hanging out with my wife and kids and streaming is more of a hobby when I time these days.

Thank you Goya Gang for always standing behind me in this adventure of streaming. I’m not leaving or anything, this was just an update on where I’ve been.

So since I didn’t know about dittos being in Pokémon Go packs in general I didn’t realize I had another that I pulled on stream a few weeks ago 😱 This one is a spinarak! Catching me on the purple for a pack opening stream tonight! 😏

Listen, I walked into the store and they had these laid out and you know I HAD to get this because it applies to ALL Philly sports teams and it’s the average Philadelphian’s attitude 😂

For those that don’t know I’ve been stream on twitch (twitch.com/goyagamingg) for the last few weeks. Just tired of all the BS Facebook Gaming has been doing as a whole since this time last year. Come through to twitch for all streams until further notice. Plus the vibes over there are so much more fun due to actually being able to listen to music and watch videos without getting copyrighted.

Story time: Listening to Gracie’s Corner while driving my son to daycare this morning and it made me think of myself when I was younger. In elementary school I often got made fun of for my hair.

My class was mostly comprised of Puerto Rican students all with straight or wavy hair. I was the only one with 3B/3C hair type and it was frizzy most of the time because I didn’t know about the hair products I use today back then. Maybe if there were more things like Gracie’s corner back then telling me to love my hair I wouldn’t have spent all of elementary and middle school hating what made me different.

THIS IS WHY RERESENTATION MATTERS! We need more of this! More people, heroes (super or not), more cartoons, more books, etc, that look like…. us 🥹
