Wayland Department of Public Works Mourns the loss of one of our own. James (Jimmy) Gazzaniga passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, after a brief illness. Jimmy was a 20-year veteran of Wayland Public Works starting at the Transfer Station and then moving to the Highway Division as a Medium Equipment Operator in 2008. Jimmy was a character, to say the least, old school in values and beliefs with a heart of gold. He never missed an opportunity to make a stranger a friend. Jimmy will be missed invaluably by the Department and Town. Rest easy brother.
