The Athlone Film Festival, which starts the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival, is back and it's bigger than ever, with two days of events!
On Friday the 2nd of May we have the filmmakers networking event which is being hosted by TUS Athlone in the Earl of Ross theater. Organsied in conjunction with the Westmeath Filmmakers Collective. Doors open at 6:30pm with free light refreshments served.
The event will run for approximately 3 hours and is free for all to attend!

The following morning on the 3rd of May we will have our writers workshop. Hosted by Rachel Moloney, award winning short film writer and long term script editor with RTÉ. The workshop will run from 11am to 1pm, and will take place in the Luan Gallery Athlone. That night then the official Athlone Film Festival screening will take place. Starting at 8pm and running until approximately 10:30pm.
