Enjoyed meeting with some friends today! Relationships are important in life and in business. George and Carol were friends of my mother's. Ever since her passing in 2011, George, Carol, me (and often Felicity) have met many times per year to celebrate Mom's memory. Today's lunch was at Copperfield Inn at lakeside. Beautiful restaurant and great catch up day with George and Carol. Friendships sustain us! Our lives would be very different without each of the wonderful individuals we meet along the path of our lives.

The best chicken sandwich ever was always Chick Fil-A. Alas, today's sandwich and my daughter's Chicken nuggets were the first disappointment ever from our Eat Mor' Chik'in nearby. The first bite tasted a bit burned - or overdone.
The chicken breast was much thinner than I have ever had before from them.
I didn't say anything until my daughter mentioned that her chicken nuggets didn't "taste the same". They "weren't very good". After we "googled it", we saw that the company was changing their chicken. It isn't a good change if that's what the problem was. I might give it one more try to see what happens next time - but right now, I actually think I may have to refrain from visiting them again. It seems everything is changing - and not for the better.

Which fish sandwich is your favorite. Mine was Wendy's Panko Fish. But - it looks like I may have to try Popeye's, coming in at #1. I'm not surprised that McDonald's didn't even make the list. There's something about a crispy, crunchy, batter! Yum. Lent is a good time to devour those fish sandwiches!

Last night Felicity Joy and I went to the DCP Theatre performance of Over the River and Through the Woods. It was Funny. It was Emotional. The cast and performances received a standing ovation. Show runs tonight at 8 pm and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Tickets $20 adults $18 seniors. It is a must see if you can attend. Tickets can be purchased online - or are on sale beginning an hour prior to the performance. Get there early to purchase. See the link below for all information.
