Jaymo & Andy George’s Moda Black record label is one of the most acclaimed new imprints to emerge in recent years. Since it’s inception in 2011 it’s developed a global reputation thanks to consistently high quality releases from emerging artists and established powerhouses alike. Described by Pete Tong as ‘a nursery for new talent’, Moda Black’s back-catalogue ranges from up-and-coming names such

as Theo Kottis, Marco Faraone, Sidney Charles and Walker & Royce, through to globally renowned artists like Danny Daze, Eats Everything, Disclosure and, the man behind the label’s first ever release, Hot Since 82.

2011 saw the debut edition of the Moda Black album scoop iTunes ‘Dance Album of the Year’, marking the start of this popular series, which features totally exclusive new music from the label’s artists and extended family. This was followed by the producer-lead Little Black Book series, which combines archive material, brand new productions and a raft of new remixes, all delivered in a limited edition book, featuring notes and photos from the curating artist. The debut edition came from Hot Since 82, whilst the following instalment, due out in 2015, is currently being put together by Groove Armada. The Moda Black crew have thrown roadblock events all over Europe; from Fabric in London to Sonar in Barcelona to Space in Ibiza. Whether it’s an intimate basement party or a 2000 strong warehouse rave - Moda Black parties are guided by the same principals as the record label - forward-thinking music that sparks the imagination.
