Visit Early, Texas (Early Visitors & Events Center), a rising star in the tourism industry, has clinched the second and third spots in two prestigious categories at the Texas Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus (TACVB) Destination Excellence Awards.

Visit Early is proud to announce that it was recognized during the 2024 Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus annual conference in Austin, Texas, last week for its outstanding achievements in tourism marketing and community engagement by the Texas Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (TACVB). The organization placed second in the People's Choice Award in the Community/Local Engagement Campaign under the $500,000 category (Movie in the Park) and third in the People's Choice Award in the Leisure Tourism Marketing Campaign (Beyond Early) under the $500,000 category.

The Destination Excellence Awards, presented by the TACVB, honor organizations that have demonstrated excellence and creativity in promoting tourism and travel in Texas. Visit Early's innovative and impactful campaigns have been acknowledged for effectively engaging the local community and promoting leisure tourism. Tourism Director Denise Hudson-Brian remarked, "We are thrilled to receive this prestigious recognition from the Texas Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus. We are a small organization competing against larger organizations with dedicated marketing teams, unlike us, who wear many hats. These awards are a testament to our team's hard work and dedication and the strong support we have received from our local community and partners. We are committed to continuing our efforts to showcase Early and Brown County as a hidden gem, must-see destination and to provide memorable experiences for all our visitors."

This commitment promises our visitors and partners that we will continue to strive for excellence. Visit Early is honored to have its efforts acknowledged by the TACVB and is dedicated to further enhancing its marketing and engagement initiatives to promote Early and Brown as a top travel destination in Texas.
