🥈🥈 🇬🇧 2 European Olympic Silvers with a gold in reach.

After 4 day's of competition at the 2023 European Games Esports Championships in Poland, we return home with 2 Silvers for Great Britain after narrowly missing out on a gold and returning as the most awarded team of the event.

An incredibly competitive field and proud of our entire 2023 squad and with 1 more event left in my 3 Year tenure as Team Manager theres one more shot at gold in december!

Next week I take a short break with the team for national duty as I head back over to Poland with the British Esports national team to take part in our very first Olympic sanctioned esports event represending Great Britain at the European Games!

Last week our British Esports GB 🇬🇧 squad headed out to Istanbul 🇹🇷 for the global games and returned with a Silver Medal 🥈 for a second consecutive year, I have One last dance as GB Team Manager in 2023, let's see if we can bag that elusive gold!

Istanbul 22 was an incredibly competitive event and due to a number of a factors I feel we fell short this year, we had an incredibly strong selection and back office, with a large number of us coming off a successful commonwealth games apperence with our respective countrys, unfortunately we just couldnt connect the dots on the day. But with that said, and all things considered, we can certainly be proud of our performance and returning home with a silver medal yet again.

History has been made, we return from as the most awarded team with a total of 5 out of a possible 6 event medals in the Esports Commonwealth Games Pilot event securing 1 gold, 3 silvers and a bronze.

Ive been doing this for sometime now, and I dont think any other tour will be as special as what this has been for me. Its not been easy, but its been worth it.

As for whats next, Im unsure, there are conversations to be had and some loose ends to tie up. The future of esports looks exciting.
