We strive primarily to provide editorials that are based off of concrete facts, not emotion, in part as a rebuttal to the degrading state of the present media. We hope to counteract the omnipotence of sensationalism and non-accountability that so many media outlets currently espouse. All articles published through LLE will be extensively edited for factual validity, and will have legitimate source
s with citations, so as to give the reader the chance to explore the truth themselves. LLE is a non-partisan site, meaning that there are liberal and conservative writers, and all those who are in between or otherwise. We do not endorse a political agenda, but rather wish to engage the public in reasonable discourse surrounding the important issues of our day. Our name is a play on words, but highlights the three key aspects to our mission: life (social issues), liberty (political issues), and economics (economic issues). We have a committed staff of columnists, each of whom have well-laid out political viewpoints, so as to provide complete clarity and transparency to their articles. Our emails are available, and we encourage you to get in contact withl us, either for clarification, to rebut our article, or to commend our work. Every couple of weeks, we intend on publishing the emails, with any comments or rebuttals of our own, should they seem appropriate.
