As we head into the winter seasons❄️, we, as entrepreneurs, tend to feel the momentum building - at least, Meraki does.

And as the momentum builds and clients trickle in, it’s easy to put our own business marketing on pause or on the 🔙 burner.

I, myself, sometimes struggle - should I be spending time writing content when my attention needs to go elsewhere?

The first thing I ask myself is: what needs to get done today?

If I do not respond or reply to emails from my team or potential clients, those partnerships and projects won’t move forward.

So, that is the first priority. ☝🏼

Then, the ✌🏼 priority is my marketing. Because I know that when we take breaks, my business tends to lose momentum, and even though things are really hot and pumping right now, if I stop marketing, in 2-3 months there could be a lag in leads.

Now, if you are at a place in your business where your consistency tends to fall off, this is when it’s a great time to bring people like myself and my team in to support you. 💻

A lot of the work we do today will pay off in 2-3 months and will build even more over time. Let us get you started!

📲 And in the meantime, feel free to message me if you have questions on what our process looks like!

As highly sensitive entrepreneurs, managing our energy is key 🔑

👉🏼 It's all about setting boundaries and learning when to conserve our mental and emotional reserves. Whether it's deciding to engage in a conversation or knowing when to step back, it’s critical to prioritize ourselves.

Sometimes it even means making big life changes, like moving away to protect that peace. ☮️

💫 In this episode, I’m diving into how I’ve navigated this in my own journey and the importance of protecting your energy while building a business!

A client that I admire so deeply is . Lisa explains being an HSP so beautifully. She describes how an HSP is closer to the roots of a tree, where they can feel the energy exploding from the life source that a tree, in this example, has to offer. Others who are not HSPs, or who maybe haven’t tapped into this yet, are further away from the tree. They still receive life and nutrients, but the connection and deep feelings may not be experienced as intensely.

My other amazing client, , has recently shared with me that she also is experiencing the deeper reading into conversations, which makes sense given her line of work.

These women, and someone like , are a perfect example of humans that are choosing to live their lives on a deeper energetic level. It can be challenging because it sometimes makes us feel separated or different from others in society. However, it becomes crucial to tap into these feelings rather than numbing them, which can often lead to other types of symptoms down the line.

In this week’s solo episode, I dive into the moments of connection and disconnection we all experience.

Sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments when we receive powerful intuitive downloads—realizations about why certain things happened in our lives.

I share a personal story, one that carries some sadness, but I believe it’s important to embrace those parts of our past that shape who we are today. 🙏🏼

After all, it's often through those difficult moments that we create the reality we're living now.

Today on The End in Mind, we are chatting about realities - the current situations we find ourselves in, whether we like them or not. I believe we have impacted, and to some extent, we have curated our own current scenarios. The deeper I got into building Meraki, the more I found this theory to ring true for myself. What do you think?

There is something that happens when we accept that all we can do is receive what every day has in store for us as business owners. It's not preparing for the worst or the best; it's a happy medium that will give you, your clients, and your team an entirely different approach to security and peace within your organization. In my business, and I believe most, there are cycles - different seasons that are busy and other seasons that aren’t. A mentor of mine used to explain this using the stock market as an example.

When I was 15 years old, I started managing stock after losing my father. I was the owner of these accounts and needed to learn business quickly in order to reallocate funds accordingly. My mentor told me, “It's like physics, what comes up must go down.”

This process allowed me to make investments without panicking when things started to drop. Implementing this mindset took longer in my own business, as it’s a bit different when it’s your own. However, I noticed that the more I embodied this mindset, the quicker the bounce-back came.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you tried taking this neutral approach with your company?

Building your ecosystem for your business can take so much more than looking at one social media post or one visual that resonates with people. For Example, was that post for the right person? Did those people purchase from you? Were they quality leads? Was the growth maintained over time or was the viral post a one hit wonder?

In this crazy world of social media, we can find ourselves fixating on the amount of views, likes, followers, etc. So much so that some of us business owners get wrapped up in the incorrect goals. We think that - and I have thought this as well - once I go viral, then I will be….rich….have endless amount of clients….get the recognition from others that we believe we need to seem credible.

But how much of this thought process is actually true? As many of you have seen over the years, going viral can kind of be like a one-hit wonder. It’s really about what you have set up to capture leads prior to that and how you harness the growth and exposure from it.

This week, we will dive into the mental and physical of what it takes to really be your own quiet power, giving yourself the stability to create and launch a brand. That way, when you do create an evergreen lead-generating system, that you’re actually prepared for the outcome.

When it comes to social media, as we shared a few weeks prior, it's not one-size-fits-all! Everything depends on the business, social media, ideal clients, seasons etc. One of the recurring themes I have seen in this industry from the start is how much CEOs and visionaries do not want to deal with social media. They find it stressful, repetitive, uncomfortable, and sometimes just a drag.

The further I got into energetic work, the more I realized how important it is for business owners to enjoy their work. Since they are ever-evolving and changing, what they may want to continue to work on one day may overwhelm them the next, prompting the need to outsource that task ASAP. Social media has been a big area for outsourcing the deeper they got into their businesses. It is also an area that is ever evolving, much like these CEOs. To stay ahead, outsourcing became necessary, allowing them to drive the visions they would put into motion through their companies.

There comes a point when managing social media becomes overwhelming, making outsourcing essential. At Meraki, we help business owners feel comfortable outsourcing their marketing. This approach has retained clients since our LLC's launch, a significant blessing. Understanding the evolving needs of businesses, we grow with our clients and adapt to their changes. As a business owner, I realized the importance of enjoying work and outsourcing tasks when necessary to avoid unhappiness. This perspective transformed my agency, emphasizing that if I'm not happy with our services, clients won't be either.

While it's not perfect and I still make mistakes, running my company this way feels right. It feels expansive, not constricted, allowing us to continuously take on clients without hitting a capacity limit, which was my goal.

Not every business owner is looking for that. So when you think about your business, do you feel space? Do you feel expansive? Do you feel the impact being made?

When it comes to social media, as we shared a few weeks prior, it's not one-size-fits-all! To stay ahead, outsourcing became necessary, allowing them to drive the visions they would put into motion through their companies.

There comes a time when social media is too much, and outsourcing is absolutely necessary. Meraki was one of the places where I found we could help our business owners feel comfortable with outsourcing their marketing. Because of this, some of our clients have been with us since I launched the LLC, which is such a huge blessing. I also realized that at times our business owners need an agency that can not only grow with them but also understand their ebbs and flows. Being a business owner myself, I was also experiencing them. This perspective allowed me to have mature conversations, not just about money, but about the services needed at certain times. It changed the way I looked at my agency and it allowed me to see if I was helping others outsource, eventually, I would need to do the same, or I would become unhappy. If I wasn't happy with what we offered, why should a client be?

It’s not to say that it is perfect; I still make mistakes because I am human. However, it does feel like this way of running my company is right. It feels expansive, not constricted, and it feels like we can take on clients all of the time instead of hitting a capacity limit, which is what I wanted.

Do Not Disturb - my favorite setting on the iphone

A few years ago, I started using the Do Not Disturb setting on my phone, and it changed my life and my business forever. At first, it pissed a lot of people off. My friends were probably wondering why I was constantly on DND. My clients, who usually reach us most of the time through Voxer and email, didn't mind much. I hadn't realized how many notifications were coming through my phone until I started using DND regularly.

From email, to social media, to phone calls, texts, etc., we are constantly pulled in a million different directions. At times, I think it would be impossible to stay on task if I didn't use DND as frequently as I do. I also realized that when I use DND, I can decide, “Okay, for the next 15 minutes I will answer texts, then DMs, then emails,” instead of feeling like I need to respond to people right away. This has been a game changer for my company.

Because we think that replying back instantly is a form of respect, we have added a sense of unnecessary urgency to our conversations, which can feel uncomfortable and rushed. Sometimes, we aren’t giving ourselves enough space to craft a response that is most aligned. Responding when I have the time, space and energy has allowed me to scale my company with aligned clients who understand that to be intentional, time and space are necessities!
