Flash Flood Warning issued August 22 at 9:51AM CDT until August 22 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Dallas County in north central Texas... * Until 100 PM CDT. * At 951 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 10 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

Dallas, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Carrollton, Richardson, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Wylie, Coppell, Duncanville, Lancaster, Farmers Branch, Balch Springs and University Park. Additional rises along White Rock Creek are expected.

Up to 8 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
