One of the biggest benefits from doing long term travel is the amount of time spent in different environments โ๏ธโ๏ธ
This generates an easy to see contrast between 2 or more locations.
The more time you spend in these locations, the more you see HOW YOU FEEL when youโre within them.
Example:
I love the snowy mountains but I couldnโt live there for longer than 4 months ๐๏ธ
I simply love the sun way too much, I need the heat to thrive & be happy โ๏ธโค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Because Iโve experienced both (and more) I know what I favour most.

Increasing Muscular Growth With Supersets - Shoulders ๐๏ธโโ๏ธโค๏ธโ๐ฅ (Hereโs How To Do It)
Been making the most out of every second in the gym!
To do that I double up on exercises by doing them back to back (b2b) to target the same muscle(s) ๐ช๐พ๐ฅ
Exercises in this video:
1. Dumbbell Shoulder press โ
2. Dumbbell Lateral raise โ
Target muscles: Deltoids & bit of trapezius ๐ฅ
Method example:
1. Rep first exercise for 6 reps
2. Rep second exercise for 6 reps.
No rest break in between (switch exercises within 5 seconds) โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Repeat reps & sets for each arm ๐ช๐พ (I did 3 sets on each)
Doing them b2b increases the time under tension of said muscle(s) being worked WITH maximising every second/minute you have in the gym โฑ๏ธ๐

Breathwork + Cycling Combo -> Increase Cardiovascular Endurance ๐ฅ๐ซ
Today was a HARD Day.
Lacking in motivation & energy levels โ
So I just got the headphones in and jogged to the gym = JUST START! ๐๐ฝ
Over the last few weeks Iโve been allocating more time to cardio but this time include my breathwork rounds.
I set my stopwatch & persisted through to 30 minutes.
(I normally only do 6 mins cardio per/day)
My goal here was to train my mind & body to KEEP GOING when I wanted to stop! ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ฆ
I switched the brake lever levels up & down to create more tension & thus create a stronger output from me.
Benefits Iโve seen with this:

New workout routine: BULKING PHASE! ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐ฅ
Hereโs 3 of my favourite fitness achievements in 2023:
Installing & practicing a professional technique for precision lifting โ
Increasing range of movement with muscles for flexibility & stability โ
Increasing time under tension (TUT) for endurance โ
This has built such a STRONG foundation in my workouts. Now weโre adding more weight to the lifts to grow muscle mass.
BULKING PHASE - letโs go! ๐ช๐พ๐ฅ
Exercise: Smith machine reverse lunge with bench assist
Method: x6 reps each leg (x3 sets on each leg)
Weight: 50kg + barbell weight (before I was on 40kg)
Was feeling the pump & sweat from that last set! โค๏ธโ๐ฅ๐๐ฝ

3 benefits Iโve experienced from doing the gym in the afternoon โฐ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
For the majority of my workouts, theyโve always been in the morning, however I hate it when the routine becomes stale & expected โ
I enjoy it more when Iโm kept on my toes, so therefore I decided to DEFY habituation.
What is habituation?
This is the action of a process becoming habituated.
When the action becomes a habit.
Habits are great for consistency but when you donโt mix up the routine, your body & your mind are not being worked out to its FULL potential.
Why? Because your body & mind adapt to the workout.
So I shifted the gym to 2:30pm, used the bandwidth of my brain to fulfil high priority tasks this morning โ
(benefit 1)
My energy depletes in the pm so moving & lifting gave me a good energy boost โ
(benefit 2)
I found that I was a lot more clear headed in the gym due to getting my tasks done in the morning, so this meant I had better focus on the workout โ
(benefit 3)
I do have a lot of work & life commitments at the moment but I do really like it when I can spice up the routine ๐ฅ๐๐ฝ
