It's Light After The Dark one year anniversary today.
One year on I am filled with the same sense of joy I felt on release day. We spent years on this album, months in Red Room Studio's labouring over every tiny detail of this record. TeMatera Smith is probably the most patient engineer in the country, as he listened to us debate this and that.
It's kinda hard to believe just how much effort goes into making an album. It started with one meeting, and a huge listening session when we 16 new songs (Not all of them made the cut). A lot of ideas from that day made it to the record. The horns in Light After The Dark and the string section in Pitter Patter.
It's wild.
Anyway, why not give it a spin? It's a kooky journey, filled with love and a bit of melancholy.. In true Albi & The Wolves fashion.
