Venezuelan producer and multi-instrumentalist Caribombo is back with the first single from his forthcoming album “Barrio Popular”. “Multicolore” is the result of the artist travelling to Mauritius to record traditional Sega music group Langaz Ravann. As in most of his production, Caribombo respectfully draws influence from the French African and South-Asian diasporas to create colourful pieces of Dance music inspired by his Colombo-Venezuelan heritage.
Barrio Popular will be available for pre-order on Bandcamp starting September 13, 2024 via @galletas.calientes and will be released on #vinyl, mid-November, with a multicoloured artwork created by Colombian maestro @guache_art

From France’s free techno party movement with our Mas I Mas Sound System in the mid 90s, to the Paris, underground studio @dkmastering where we created the label with @krakindub in 2004, to moving to Colombia, to working with talented acts from the UK, US, Greece, Ghana, Congo, Spain, Venezuela, Panama, France and Colombia; we’ll be sharing a bit of history to you guys.
